Ivy Tech Community College - Northcentral Reviews
All of my prerequisite professor's were amazing! Very thorough and had passion for the material. My program professor's are otherwise; unorganized, lack knowledge of student questions and professors will not answer material related questions regarding tests, homework, or lab related assignments. Although it has been a bumpy ride, my passion for my program has surpassed being an interest - It is now love. I love being a Medical Laboratory Technologist in training. I am ready to save lives in the lab!
What I liked about Ivy Tech is that this community college was small. I got opportunities to be in smaller classes and get a more 1-1 with my professors. My professors wanted nothing but for me to succeed and were there for any type of help I needed! As a fresh out of high school graduate I loved this small community college because I was able to transition better without feeling so overwhelmed and I still could live at home! I was also able to have a part-time job and find classes that worked around my schedule.
This is a community college that is learning based, if you are looking for fun and frat parties or a sports school, this isn't for you! However if you are looking to earn your degree in as short amount of time in an reasonably priced school with helpful teachers, many of them are Doctors, and small classes, you came to the right place. I LOVE this school. I am a mom of 4 boys, I work full time and this school is PERFECT for me. I can work around my schedules, take courses I need online if I want and finish my Associate's degree in a year and a half. They are helpful and give you pointers before the placement exam on what to brush up on, and they even take monthly payments! I strongly recommend Ivy Tech!
