Ivy Tech Community College - Kokomo was a fantastic experience. The amount of support that I had from the staff and faculty is what I look up to! Their communication with the students and wanting to have them succeed was one of the reasons why I continued and didn't give up on my education! The only reason why I am giving the school a four star instead of a 5 star is because I wish there would of been more student involvement when it came to events and the organizations/clubs. It very may well been my fault, but I felt that there could have been more done to promote the organizations/clubs so that students could be more aware of them.
I've loved going to Ivy Tech Kokomo. I feel like the staff care about you, and you get out of it as much as you put into it. It is affordable and is a great place to get a degree either for work or transferring to a 4-year. Lots of diverse students background-wise. There's always some new discussion or project you can join, too, with lots of discussions, job fairs, and talks. The campus recently was redone and it looks great. There aren't that many clubs, though, and I have seen students drop out.
I've taken all of my classes here online due to COVID. They are good. Some professors are better at teaching online, whereas others just lecture with a PowerPoint. There's a mix, just like face-to-face classes. I really do not recommend totally online courses and I'd advise getting a mixed course where the instructor teaches through Zoom.
