I absolutely love Ivy Tech! I have had such a great experience attending here. Everyone is so kind and eager to help. Your education is prioritized. It is also affordable which is nice. I feel I am getting a great education here. My classes are mostly online due to covid but that doesn't affect my learning which I love! I am still able to interact with my classmates and my teachers. Some of my classes are on campus which is nice also! Another thing I like about Ivy Tech is that your courses, assignments, due dates, and everything else are super easy to find. Everything is easy to navigate.
I went to the director of my former program, at the college, and she referred me to the community of programs for my certification credentialing body, which is through the AAMA, or medical assisting. Before I knew it, I was taking the class, and testing my skills, which were severely lacking! But, I found out later in the semester that I had been awarded a $500 scholarship for my endeavor to achieve my career goals, and I believe that they were awarding this as I was a non-traditional student! Thank you, Ivy Tech!
A few days after applying, I received a phone call from a real person that helped me make sure I was on track to start classes on time. Ivy Tech made it really easy to enroll, I was done with the entire process in under a week. My advisor did her best with my enrollment date to get me into classes that worked with my schedule. Classes are small and are more welcoming to all students, traditional or otherwise. I'll get my degree in two years at a fraction of the cost of a larger university, which is amazing!
