It is been great so far, great lecturers and very friendly people. The professors are there to help every student at every rime. They out in the work they need to put in, to make sure ate the end of the day the leaves very happy and satisfied with what was covered that day in class. Also, there is a success center at Iowa Lakes Community College, which is basically there to help both students struggling with their studies and studies looking to make the most out of it. What I mean is those B students who maybe want to get As. They can stop in at the success center anytime and get help from ever present tutors. Overall, I think the experience has been so great thus far. I can't complain. The only thing though is the school is so small. There is not a lot of people, so it is not very possible interact with other people. But aside that, everything is well at Iowa Lakes
Loved the experience and the people. I took classes in high school and continued my education after high school. Everyone is friendly and the campus is smaller so you get to know everyone fairly good. It is cheaper to go there and that was one of the main reasons I choose it. I also played baseball there as well and had a great experience with all that. I grew up in the town of Estherville where the college is located so I might be a little bias but I really enjoy the small town. Some of the student athletes that I knew complained about how small it was but in the end they came to realise that it is more the people you are around that makes the place then the place itself.
