Iowa Central is a very diverse small community. Advisors and administration are always available and happy to help. It is also a smoke-free and alcohol-free campus as well as the fact that their residency halls are close to all education buildings. It is a small beautiful campus and it is close to many fun spots in town, such as Fort Frenzy, the bowling alley, the apple orchard, and so on. Students from all over the world come to join their prestigious award-winning athletics. They push you t get involved and learn about many different cultures. If you ever come across a problem you could any approach staff and will be listened to. Personally, if you're in athletics they will make sure that you are successful both in academics and in your sport. They also have many clubs including leadership positions such as the student senate. It is not so difficult to get involved and make new friends. Overall it's a beautiful campus and a great place to begin your college journey at a small cost.
I took several online courses. The instructions make sure to tell you on their syllabus and on their policies what they expect from you exactly. Most online classes have seven days to complete work which includes assignments quizzes and discussions. Every eighth Day you receive a review on all your work or your discussions. All professors provide office hours and their email and the since they're online they usually respond pretty quickly from a day or less than 2 hours. overall my experience was pretty great that's why I first bring the semester I decided to take all my classes online because it was much easier especially for a commuter. the teachers always make sure to look after you and if for one reason you miss an assignment they will reach out to you and see why such a thing happened and if there's something you could possibly do to remake all those points. Definitely, if you're trying to go online Iowa Central is the best for you.
Excellent environment. Students are able to explore their interests while having the guidance and assistance of staff and advisors. On-campus and off-campus resources and assistance are offered to all students!
