My college experience was average. I was in the education program. Even though it has great programs to help low-income students, such as the Student Support Services program, it is lacking in other departments. They focus on appearances rather than their students. Many professors are underqualified, and students just don't complete their studies and feel prepared to work in their field.
Review Inter American University of Puerto Rico - Arecibo
The campus athletes win the national competition every year.
Biotecnology... Professors That Go the Mile! I've been studying at the Interamerican of Puerto Rico nearly five years now, and honestly the faculty for the B.S. in Biotecnology really are the best. The program has top of the line technology and education to make the experience as real and similar to industrial work. They really prepare the students for a carrer, not just a job. This professors go beyond the class material and motivate you to research more intensively in your area of interest. They make sure to help the student as much as posible in order for them to obtain the oportunities they deserve and want. The whole program is very well structured and the level of dificulty is high, but not impossible. The work load sometimes seems unberable but at the end of the day its all worth it, if you really love this.
