Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) has an amazing community of Christ followers who genuinely care about your education and well-being. The professors challenge and support students. They go out of their way to help students and engage in meaningful relationships. In general, the students at IWU are very welcoming, and it is very easy to make friends and rely on others for support!
Indiana Wesleyan is a Christ-centered school and it's easy to tell when attending! There is such an emphasis placed on community and fellowship. During my first week here, faculty and staff made sure I had the connections I needed and helped me to make friends quickly. I also feel like I'm able to connect with my professors, as they're all very personable. I love it here!
This University is a small private university that has many different degree programs. The professors tend to have smaller classes and can build better more trusting relationships with students. Having this relationship with professors and advisors is very helpful in terms of they are more willing to work with you if an emergency comes up. This university also has many resources to help their students. Some of these resources include tutoring, the inkwell (they will go over papers with you and discuss possible changes to better the paper), and many study areas that provide students with a quiet place they can study outside of their dorms. The campus is beautiful and very welcoming to visitors and new students.
