Being at IUK has given me an opportunity to stand on my own two feet and essentially start adulting. There are so many resources that this school offers to help keep you on track of your school work like peer tutors, study labs, academic advisors, and even programs where someone will check up with you weekly to help in anyway they can! I like the welcoming environment at IUK and the ability to start my own journey knowing that people are by my side.
Well my experience with Indiana University-Kokomo has been brief. I did recently become a student at the University. This will be my first semester, which is the spring semester. I anticipate that I'll have a great semester. I hope the campus is nice and that my professors are great! So far, I've only communicated with them online. I feel like once the in-person classes begin everything will sort of change at least the best way possible due to COVID-19.
The school itself is fine, but it’s disgraceful that a campus of this size has less than ten visitor parking spaces total, especially when half of those are taken by faculty with employee parking tags at any given time. The campus police refuse to ticket professors or staff (who are parking improperly) but will not hesitate to levy a hefty fine against the school’s guests.
