Indiana University-Purdue University - Indianapolis is a very well diverse university where everyone feels important. The campus is small enough to where you have plenty of time to get from class to class, yet big enough to where it still gives off the typical college vibe. Right now some of the roads are currently under construction though making it hard to cross the streets at certain spots and a little confusing to drive, since they are turning the street into a two-way rather than a one-way. As far as the professors go, it is only my first semester but every professor I have is wonderful. They all quickly respond back to my concerns about my grades or questions about homework!
Review Indiana University-Purdue University - Indianapolis (IUPUI)
Since starting my college education at IUPUI, I have loved the city life! I love how this university is an urban education school. I'm majoring in Elementary Education and I love how my learning is involved around the concept of urban education so that I can get a feel on what it is like and it will be easy for me to get a job once I graduate. My professors, in my major especially, are very involved in not only helping you become an educator, but also helping us grow as students and individuals. I love how exciting campus life is and I can't wait to further my education here at IUPUI!
I chose this school because it was a small campus that was welcoming and had a positive atmosphere. IUPUI is unique in that it has an equal amount of commuters as on-campus residents, so I get many opportunities to meet people in the areas surrounding Indianapolis, as well as out of state students. The Campus Center here is a wonderful student hub for exciting activities throughout the year. Each time I walk in, there are different events like live gigs, games, and prize opportunities. All of my professors have given much time to help students one on one when asked, and provide the resources necessary to succeed. The community is so supportive. I wouldn't choose another institution for anything!
