I think that ISU is a great school for me! I play on the women's tennis team and will be there until 2025. I plan on getting my degree in computer engineering and no minor. I love their campus! It's not too big and it's not too small; it's the perfect size! Walking across campus takes about 25-30 minutes which isn't bad at all. The classroom sizes are decent depending on what classes you are taking. For the engineering/math/science classes, there are roughly 15-20 people and the higher level you go up the few amount of people. They have a really good nursing program here as well. And there are so many outdoor activities you can try, like camping, hiking, going on nice walks, it's really nice here. It does snow here in the winter and gets very hot in the summer. But overall, I have had a great experience here at ISU and cannot wait to experience the next 3 years!
The Professors at Idaho State are overall very open and welcoming, great at teaching their classes, and eager to answer any questions. I’ve also had good experiences overall with the faculty. Commute can be difficult and my friends with cars struggle to find parking. If you choose to walk or bike instead, be prepared for some hills! Overall I’ve had a wonderful experience.
Idaho State University is a great school for students looking for a nice, not too small town. The university campus is spaced out on beautiful hills and the campus security is awesome! The offer excellent programs for many degrees and try their best to reach out to their students to help them succeed and have fun in college.
