As a graduate of Silver Lake College, I can say the small class sizes, faculty/staff & friendly campus is a big plus. I met my future spouse there & took advantage of the extra-curricular and leadership opportunities on campus.

Financial aid & scholarships helped to keep my net cost of attendance very low. They recently strengthened their strong academics, athletics, music and business scholars program, which offers a powerful scholarship based on your particular passion.

Job-wise, my education from SLC prepared me for a great career path going forward. Even many years later, our college group of friends still get together with other alumni to catch up and share our fun times on the campus.

Those seeking to grow in the Christian Faith will find opportunities to do so. SLC has a newer Music & Performance building + several options to live on campus. Located about 5 minutes south of Manitowoc, WI.

I love that the school has a small campus, and it makes it easier to get to know all of your professors and make new friends. On the other hand, there is a sad realization that there really isn't a lot of diversity on campus which really makes people of color on campus feel very isolated. In my experience it has been alright, but for some of my peers they have felt uncomfortable being there and not being able to have someone of color to talk to if they are having a problem whether it be personal or academic. Another thing that I can say about the school it has very passionate teachers that actually care about how each individual student is doing in their class and offer to help the after their office hours.
When I first arrived at Silver Lake College of the Holy Family I loved it. The first only problem was that the rooms were so small for them to be shared with another person. I always wanted to go to a small college environment so this school was almost perfect for me. Until, things started to go left. I know that tuition goes up every year but why is the issue. The only good thing that I would not take away from Silver Lake College is that you have a little more advantages than any other school. You could get one-on-one times with your professors rather them having to meet with people in groups. But what I would like to see change is the options of food we have because not everyone on campus agree with the food and also having us pay for something that is worth it. I know in the end you would have to pay for schooling regardless but I would rather pay a lot of money living by myself on campus than to be paying a fortune having to share half of your room and a bathroom with everyone.
