The teaching staff are earnest and understanding. They want you to pass! Whether its communicating via e-mail or finding time after class to talk. Yes, teachers very depending on the person. I myself am attending the Plant City Campus and have had an over all good experience. The staff at the front desk are also very welcoming. They display friendly and helpful dispositions. I would have liked to see some better helping the Advising department. Two people I must note but for privacy sake cannot name, are extremely helpful while other individuals were vague and dismissive to my concerns and questions.
Glad I got the education for free, but their online class offerings were substantially less than in-person classes and their office staff was a mess. Professors would often require more supplies than the school authorized (making me, a dual-enrollment high school student, pay for them). The system is not friendly to new students.
Otherwise, most of my professors were great and I enjoyed many of the classes I took!

I loved the online experience with HCC! I was able to take almost all my classes my last two semesters online! It was so much easier and better for my schedule. I was able to work at my own fast pace and turn things in ahead of time and finish with classwork earlier than the deadlines, giving me more time to myself. I loved that I did not need to meet at certain times, but rather it was all asynchronous. It was super easy too.
