I have had a great experience thus far, the go-to tool of HCC students is WebAdvisor. After logging in as a student, you will be able to access everything you need. There are sections in WebAdvisor that concern: Financial Aid; Registration; [Your] Academic Profile; etc. This alone will make the process 10 times easier. Students are also able to set up appointments, ahead of time, if they wish to speak to their academic advisor about their academic plan. These appointments can be in person or over the phone.
Online courses are not for the timid! If you know that you are not someone who is great with managing their time and sticking to a plan, it's going to be hard to finish multiple semesters, let alone one. You will also have to adapt to how different professors conduct their courses. Nonetheless, each professor is wiling to communicate with and help their students whenever problems arise.

Right now, it's been a bit hard to get into communication with the actual school but my issues have been resolved pretty quick and as long as you stay on top of communication and be consistent you'll get help and answers. Looking forward to the Spring semester!
All of my professors always answered my questions, were very organized, responded in a timely manner, and made an effort to helping all of their students learn and retain the information. When colleges and universities transitioned to only online because of Covid-19 in the middle of the semester, my professors did the best they could, but many of them had never taught an online class. And since the transition happened within the span of a week or two, it was difficult for them and the students. But they did their homework, by learning how to use technology more, providing links to simulation labs, and hosting zoom meetings and recording them so we can go back and review it. My professors made sure we had several resources for the information that we needed to learn.
