You will not find a more applicable two year applied degree than at Helena College. Many programs start off at 35k per year or more but the cost of tuition and books for most programs is under 10k, most under 8k. Excellent offering for real work success. The student center is great with tutoring and other resourced available at a students fingertips. The school hosts a 'roundtable' event where a cross section of local business owners, including State of Montana reps, sit down and help the college in its direction. This results in immediate placement after graduation because a students education was influenced by the very people who will hire him/her after graduation. This is an exceptional aspect of this school!
Review Helena College - University of Montana
The professors either have or currently work in the industry. These folks know their stuff inside and out and often go on funny tangents about related industries or skills because they've lived it. Real world knowledge that reaches outside of a book is incredibly helpful when seeking any applied degree. Class sizes are almost always under 25, classrooms can't hold more than about 30, and the professors are patient and understand that everyone learns differently. They will help, just ask!

I wish they would offer a block learning program at the school, but that is a lot to ask (and I've heard it may come soon).
Helena College is the cheapest college in the state of Montana. You get what you pay for. The professors are amazing, passionate, knowledgeable, and inspiring. The administration is a joke, the financial aid is an even bigger joke. The maintenance seems good tho! Classes are really hit and miss. There are not a lot of professors because it is a small school so there are not a lot of classes. There are some online classes which makes it very nice. The times for the other classes are sometimes difficult because, like I said there isn't a lot of professors so there really is not a lot of different available times because a lot of the professors teach more than one class.
