Heartland Community College Reviews
Highly recommend this college ! Everyone was very helpful and nice when I didn’t understand something . they always love to help their Hawk students feel comfortable when it comes to being over whelmed. My first Year of college felt relaxing! they answer all my questions and it was so easy to keep in contact with people in different departments. Heartland made me feel like I’ve known this college for years and I love the warm welcome people made me feel. they encourage adults to come and participate these cool events to help you feel comfortable and making friends easier.I would recommend this college for anyone who wants to feel at home !
Talking online classes at heartland was easy! The staff emailed you as a soon as possible there wasn’t a day that I didn’t feel like my questions was being answered. One thing I really loved was teachers would ask each week how do you feel about this weeks topics , assignments and test. It’s good that the teachers love to engage with their students .
The online classes were very organized and gave me the opportunity the work ahead and finish my assignments earlier. Online classes were first hard because you basically have to learn it yourself and teach yourself. Due to the coronavirus, heartland moved to all online classes but prior to that, I took one online class before. Even though it was harder to get in contact with your teacher in a timely matter, the instructors make sure they put step by step directions on how to do assignments. I feel like teachers made some of the assignment less complicated since the classes are all online.
