HCC offers a wide range of study, from transferable Liberal studies, to 2-year associate degrees, that get you working right out of college. The student body has a range of ages, from right out of high school up to older aged folks like myself. The application process is super easy. HCC has given me the freedom to be a parent & a student - excelling at life and school! They have some of the best instructors around - who not only care about your schooling, but your home life as well! Hawkeye Community College is the BEST option for Iowa's ccolleges in a 2 year format!

Hawkeye Community College has been great to me so far. I would highly recommend any incoming students to take the College Experience class the first semester as recommended. I was planning on transferring rather than graduating, so I didn't take the class until right now, which is my last semester. There is so much information in that course about different services around campus that I didn't know existed, and I wish I had taken advantage of that sooner!
Hawkeye Community College is a great place to go for a higher education! The staff are airways willing to help with any issues you may have. The professors are excellent and are highly focused on students succeeding! Other Hawkeye staff are also very focused on student success and have lots of fun and helpful ways to help students get through each semester successfully! I couldn't be more grateful to go to school here!
