Hawaii Medical College is an accelerated program school. You have the option of getting a diploma or associates degree in the program of your choice, Clinical Medical Assisting and Medical Billing and Coding. The administration is one of the best that I've come across. They are always involved and interacting with students, making sure the students are staying on the right track, and making sure that we're okay. They don't only care about you academically, but they also make sure that you're doing okay at home. They provide additional services to help you outside of school and they even have job placement security for you as long as you need it.

What do I like about HMC? Hmmm. More like what DON'T I like about it? There were so many times where I felt like giving up but they literally stood by me and encouraged me to not give up. There's always someone there to help you or if you need to make up any work. They put their students first, and help in anyway they possibly can not just things for school but also help you with things you need help with outside of school even if it doesn't pertain to school. You can always count on all of the staff to lend a helping hand and never judge you. If you need time off? just ask. Just know they'll still check on you and make sure you are okay and they'll try everything possible to make sure you come back and most of all SUCCEED.
Hawaii Medical College is a school that focuses on a students success. When deciding on a college to attend, I had a difficult time but upon attending the orientation, I knew that this was the perfect school for me. Not only was I able to meet Alumni's from the school but, they were able to share their experience they had while attending hawaii medical college. I was a little skeptical at first because everything seemed too good to be true but, they stay true to their word when they "apply, get trained, get hired". Everyone at hawaii medical college makes you feel welcomed, and as new students even though it can be very nerve wrecking, the atmosphere and warm greetings, along with the from the upper class men, encourages you and serve as a supportive hand when you feel like giving up.Even after graduating, you will find that hawaii medical college will serve as a lifetime job placement agency. The goal of this school is to transfer students into healthcare professionals and thats exactly what they do.
