I loved HCC! As an international student, I thought I would have difficulties. Indeed, I did, but everybody from HCC helped to relief them! From staff to professors to my friends, everybody was amazing and very willing to help. Excelent professors that care about students, and very kind staff. I would recommend HCC to anyone, specially because of their tutoring center! It is a walk-in building that gives you help for almost all STEM courses AND writing! HCC is amazing, loved my time there and wish it was a 4 year university!
Hagerstown Community College is a great option for those looking to save money while perusing an associates degree. The campus is a small and safe environment making it easy to get around campus. The college offers many scholarship opportunities with academics and athletics. The class size is small, making it easier to attain help from the professors and tutors, while giving students the opportunity to bond with more students. With the college being a community college, there are not dorms available on campus. However, there are apartments across the street for students to rent during their stay at the college. The college offers plenty of events and activities to participate in to make the best of your student life. The location of the college is perfect because it is in town, giving students plenty of places to eat and hangout with friends. Overall, I think Hagerstown Community College is a great place to attend college, to stay close and go far!
I had few online experiences with HCC, however, when I did, the professors were very helpful, and did the most to accomodate each student. We worked together, and HCC made sure to help students that were having issues with the classes by even providing online tutoring!
