Greenville University Reviews
Rating 3.5 out of 5 428 reviews
Do not go to Greenville University. They tell you they love life but they do not do anything that shows it. They force you to go to Chapel twice a week and if you try to party you are seen like a demon and persecuted by professors and campus security. The food is awful and the facilities, overall, are old and dusty. Food is absolutely garbage. The most exciting thing you can do in Greenville, IL is going to Dollar General. GU is extremely expensive for absolutely no reason and it will burn the best years of your lives.
Great professors who are willing to work with you on a personal level and are very lenient. Poor management of academic programs by administration, poor distribution of scholarships/grants by financial aid, overpriced dorms and meal plans, very restricted parking. For around a total cost of 40k a year, there are better options, but there are plenty of good people as well as a strong Christ-centered community at Greenville University. Very diverse student- body, and 15+ athletic teams at Greenville University as well.
Greenville University for me when I first applied and even got accepted was very questionable. Giving that the school is 1,000 miles away from my home, my family, and even my daily living, but as I expand through Greenville became knowledge with professors, coaches, teammates and classmates. I noticed this school isn't bad at all. Actually I notice Greenville may be the only school for me not to be bias but giving the major classroom help and peaceful campus I can't ask for a more demanding way of me about to reach my next step. Following my education at this school definitely will confirm a spot in a successful field in this world for sure.
