While I do not live on campus or take any on campus courses, I do live only a few minutes away and commute there often. We just received an upgraded cafeteria with a freshens and a Starbucks on campus, so that is really good! The staff is super friendly and will help assist you with all your needs. This university is fresh and lively, the campus is a lot bigger than what it used to be. The dorms and living situations are beautiful and there are many new programs to study and major in!
I would first like to state that I am an international student therefore my commentary and experience will somewhat lean more to that.
Glenville State University is situated in a very much rural/ mountainous and away from everything area therefore mobility for one is important because malls and public transportation are not available.
I think what they should change is the way they cater for international students. We do not have cars therefore our mobility is dead also being in one environment and same energy can be draining and because we do not have cars it makes it difficult for us to “take a breather”.
I feel there should be a commitment that focuses on specifically the needs of the international students at Glenville State. Not just for mobility and fun but also to find a sense of belonging, community and family.
The lecturers are amazing. The teaching methods and techniques have really made learning fun. The student activities bring some sort of light to the campus.

I absolutely love GSC, it's a major upgrade from my previous college (which was okay)! There is nowhere else I'd rather go to college! And if I'm being completely honest this college has beutiful women. I see a definite dating scene here. The foreign exchange program spans out to many countries and is continuing to grow. We have a few exchange students and they are very kind. I STRONGLY recommend this college to anyone in West Virginia and from all around, it is the greatest college in all of West Virginia and currently the cheapest!
