The Glen Oaks Community College Nursing program is excellent! Faculty and adjunct faculty are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, especially in the clinical setting. The campus is close to home and the clinical sites are fairly close as well, making it a very economical choice for commuter students living at home.
The cost of the nursing courses was raised recently, putting a small strain on finances this year, which is the only downside. Other than that, this is a wonderful community college that I'd recommend to anyone in the area.

I was able to take a few classes fully online, most of my classes are hybrid. There are some wonderful professors at Glen Oaks. In anatomy, for example, Mr. Hartung gives you so many resources to learn! Anatomy and Physiology can feel overwhelming, but you have the book, power points, pictures, and YouTube videos you need to get a 4.0! A good professor can really make the difference in class!
Glen Oaks Community College is a wonderful school. The classes are small, which provides a more intimate teaching space. Most of the professors are kind and work well, the college is also a cheaper option compared to a bigger, four year college. If you're looking to save money, for a smaller college, and a great learning experience then this college is for you!
