I cannot say enough positive comments about Gadsden State. All of my professors were great! They were easy to contact through the Blackboard system and quickly responded whenever I had a question. Their grading was always very fair. Because it is a community college, there aren't many people that actually live on campus. Therefore, there isn't exactly a party scene. There are dorms, but it consists of mostly athletes that live to far away to commute. The dorms have been recently remodeled and are huge! There are two spacious bedrooms that share a large double vanity and bathroom.
Gadsden State was a very good school to attend. It wasn’t too expensive and it was also very helpful for an incoming freshmen. I played women’s basketball and it helped me get more involved in the school and meet more friends. The faculty and staff there were amazing. If you needed something they would give you one on one help. They would always keep our grades updated so we knew if we needed to get our grades up. I was very lucky to go to a school like this and get the best education out of it. I am now graduating with my associates in general studies and transferring in the fall!
Gadsden State is an excellent community college for young students just out of high school. Gadsden State has many programs to choose from, there for eliminating the need to transfer to a University for a degree. Being a first time college student has so far been a great experience. The advisors at Gadsden State have been very helpful to assist in any questions and have been available for me when needed. My Professors have done an outstanding job to make sure I am learning adequately. I highly recommend Gadsden State Community College.
