Frank Phillips college is a very small junior college. The campus is very small and compacted, therefore, it is easy and fast to get around to each class. Frank Phillips is very supportive in many ways. There are many tutoring options, the professors are always willing to help, and there are many ways to make a lot of friends. Not only that, but FPC is a very big athletic school; almost all of the students who attend play a sport. The professors and staff are very supportive and understanding; they even come to many of the games that are on campus or close by. I have made a lot of friends here and classes are not as hard for me because of the support and sincere help from the professors.
I liked frank Phillips College! My expirence with the welding program was not good! I never had staff help for very long just sat in a booth burning rod never really got into it after that couldnt advance with no help! Got discouraged soon after finished up the semester I was on and didn't return! Then I got a call from the welding dept saying to go grab my things they cut my lock and my stuff was laying in the open where some of my tools were missing new welding teacher just told me it wasn't there responsibility! But why would they cut my lock anyway I'd like to go back to school but not to weld
What I like about Frank Philips College is that the classes are very small so it gives each and every student an opportunity to get close with the professor and receive the help that each student needs. Also, the students get more hands on experience with each and every subject. There are many opportunities to get help when needed outside of class and the professors are always willing to be there. I do not think that Frank Philips College needs to change anything due to the fact that everything I need is always available and the professors are very dedicated to their profession.
