Ferris is a very cultural driven school. Students at Ferris State University are able to participate in a variety of cultural enrichment activities and community service. This allows students to broaden their spectrum and become aware of other surroundings. Community service allows students to better the community and its also a good resume builder. Ferris State University has an amazing Honors Program that focuses on community service and culture. Ferris is an overall good school and I would recommend this school to anyone!
I love being part of the Ferris community! There are always things to do and stuff to look forward too. Ferris has an amazing atmosphere as far amazing faculty and students. Everyone is very nice and respectful. The instructors always try to their best to see their students succed. I really can't that the Ferris community enough. I will forever recommend Ferris as an option to friends or other peers. I think Ferris has much to offer to anyone looking to further their education. The academic programs provided here are by far some of the best I've seen. From pharmacy to music management and everything in between; I feel as if everyone can find themselves and what they want to do as a career.
Living in the dorms is pretty average here at Ferris. They have everything you could need to be comfortable and satisfied. I am in the honors program here and I get a room to myself, then a bathroom connecting to it. That is a huge thing for me. I did not want a community bathroom and I love it. That is the best thing. The cost is pretty average, but still a little pricey. The convenience is nice; it is not too far from classes, about a 5-7 minute walk, which isn't bad for me. The social atmosphere is nice, but not too much to feel overwhelmed. The housing process is the easiest thing. It is so simple and that is very nice about it. Plus, you get free bulldog bucks for signing up for housing, which that money can be used at any dining center, Starbucks, or the Market. That is also a bonus!
