Empire Beauty School - Lancaster Reviews
The school's failure. The school has a good curriculum to get you into the cosmetology field. They lack in other areas, they do not take care of problems as they arise thus allowing room for conflicts to get worse. They hush issues that are MAJOR, such as students having their items stolen from a locker with not police involvement. A student had her medication stolen to which the Academic Director advised her not to call the police as it would ruin the fun for the rest of the students. This school is not safe and yet comes up as a safe school. How can it be? Easy no reports.
I would rate the school at a D because the staff does not handle the conflicts between students well at all. They tend to want things to just go away for the sake of reputation. At times when the police should have been called and students prosecuted, they asked for silence as to not hinder the rest of the student's fun. Their curriculum is well planned and taught well by most teachers but there are a few to just hand out A's to undeserving students.
The school is diverse in many areas, I think that is one major flaw, they are not selective they just see money.
