This university has offered me access to such incredible knowledge and resources. I grew up in a small town and chose a small college to attend as well, but my confidence in my field has grown exponentially and I owe it all to this small campus. My professors guide and educate with passion and encourage growth in each and every student in our program. I am currently a senior in the Social Work program, one of 50 that were selected from a pool of 150 candidates, and having a community of future and current practitioners to learn from and collaborate with has been a remarkable experience and has helped me grow so much. Thank you for an incredible experience Eastern!
I love my school. I almost went to a liberal arts college very similar to Eastern, but because I discovered Eastern I am literally saving tens of thousands of dollars. It is so worth it. I am a theater and psychology major, and I have taken mostly theater classes this year. I love the faculty and I would also note that the dance program is growing rapidly here (although there is not a dance major (yet) there is a dance concentration within the theater major). The new Fine Arts building is also very beautiful, a must see. I got my first choice of housing in Mead, and I love it. Very spacious! I would definitely choose ECSU again.
The housing here is wonderful, as a freshman i had my own suite, with my own bathroom and shower! You don't see that at any other colleges has a freshman. As an upperclassman the rooms and suites just get nicer and you get a bigger living area with roommates who you chose to live with. The housing here was the best housing out of all the other colleges i looked at.
