East Carolina University Reviews
Review East Carolina University
I love my school. I am currently a student at ECU and love everything about it! My classes have all been great. They are challenging but still manageable plus all of my professors seem to genuinely care about their students and their success which I think is really important in academic performance. Most people are super sweet and really fun. Theres tons of clubs to join and sports teams to join its crazy. Nightlife is great too! There's always something to do! Facilities are great. Some dormitories are nicer than others but thats to be expected with any college. Campus is beautiful especially on a fall afternoon on the mall. Love Sup Dogs, Game Days, the squirrels, and even arguing with brother ross. Greenville is my home and I LOVE MY SCHOOL
My past three visits to East Carolina have been informative and fun. Aside from people saying it's a party school, they have many schools for anything you could imagine studying. What was big for me, was extracurricular activities and you can create your own club or group if you have a certain amount of people. Speaking with former students they gave me pointers on how to study and also time management. College is a once in a life time experience, but you have to make wise decisions as well. Another highlight of my trips was the gym that we could use to work out in and the awesome rock climbing wall. I'll most definitely be taking a course for that and the pool will see me twice a week as well. East Carolina is a University to be involved in and everyone loves the football team, so I'm looking forward to the games that students get free tickets to as well!
I feel ECU provides meant opportunities to help freshman students make a successful transition from high school to college. Once freshman year is complete, I think ECU, assists in providing students with tools necessary for continued success. Sometimes ECU is seen as a party school, however, my personal opinion is that unless you attend ECU, outsiders simply confuse our tremendous school spirit and purple pride as as a party school rather than the wonderful academic school that we represent. I am proud to be a pirate and sometimes resent being called a party school, we can boast of the medical advances that have been provide by the ECU school of medicine and the research that has been provided through our University! Arggg Go Pirates!
