Drexel University Reviews
Review Drexel University
Drexel is where your dreams can come to life! Ambition cannot wait! Very fast-paced, important to stay on top of your work. And get help when needed, it is not hard to find a tutor or a friendly person willing to help you when you are struggling. The teachers care immensely about each and every student and are always available to help. The food is top-notch after having a new food provider being instated earlier in the year! Drexel is the college of your dreams if you favor fast-paced, hands-on, and job security.
Since Drexel isnt a very sport related school, the Greek community fills that void. As a member of the Greek community myself, i can say that all of the fraternities and sororities usually try to host events for nongreek students to raise money. My fraternity Theta Chi has held a few barbecues and brunches to raise money for The USO. Another fraternity on campus Alphs Epsilon Pi held a pie in the face contest to raise money for cancer research. As a member of Theta Chi we have the optiom to live in our fraternity house at a rate of 550 a month, which is very cheap in comparison to apartment buildings in the area. The greek community helped me in my time of need when i was struggling with roommate issues, and the brothers of Theta Chi helped me get through everything. Overall, joining Greek life was the best decision i have made so far!
I transferred into Drexel as a nervous student that was not used to a full scale university but from the minute I started, I felt like I belonged there. Drexel is very committed to getting their students up and running and being up to speed with everyone else. Their support staff is always on hand and willing to help with whatever concerns arise. Drexel is also very committed to getting their students to be involved with the community. Drexel's quarter system helps keep students focused on course work and keeping their minds fresh as opposed to a long break between semesters. Most of all, the co-op experience is an extremely valuable resource that Drexel has to offer. I enjoy my time at Drexel and wouldn't want to be earning my degree from any other College.
