Although online learning was not ideal for anything, the professors were very patient and open minded. Most of my profs had open "office hours" on Zoom for students to hop on and ask questions, review the lesson, or just catch up! For being thrown into online learning within a week, the professors and university as a whole kept their trust in God, and that made the difference. Even though it's easy to get frustrated quickly, the students and teachers were united in their patience and understanding with God's will, and that positive attitude helped classes and learning go as smooth as possible, full of many opportunities to learn and improve.

Dordt University has been nationally ranked #1 in student engagement for 5-years in a row! Best community out there! Strong Christian atmosphere with amazing faculty to help students achieve their goals.
My favorite thing about Dordt University is that it feels like a second home. Between the patient professors, loving friends, and supportive community all united in our faith in Jesus Christ, my experience at Dordt has been nothing short of life changing. Wing events, chapel, campus activities, and music events all give students chances to meet new people as well as develop genuine friendships that will have a lifelong impact.
