Review Dixie State University
Dixie State University has the most accommodating professors, counselors, and administrators around! Everyone is very approachable to you, and are always willing to help you out with whatever your concerns may be! I have been very impressed with them. They make sure that you are where you need to be, when you need to be! Campus life is fabulous, the students are friendly and there are not very many cliques. As a freshman, that was one of my main concerns since I didn't live down south until now. People were excited to add another member to whatever they were up to! The only thing that I would change is their campus food, it could use a beneficial change! GO DSU!!
Class sizes are great! It's about 25 people in each class, you have a one on one with the teachers, the teachers are awesome because they like it when students come in and ask what they need help with. The classes there are great because they can help you what you need for your career and they teach you very well. They have a tutor if you need help with and they help you for an hour each day.
From my experiences at Dixie State, I have learned a couple of things. St. George is a small town so find good friends that like to have fun. GET INVOLVED. Dixie has many clubs and weekly activities to find new friends and kindle your school spirit. Take advantage of the Holland building with its private/group study spaces and comfy seats. Go to the sporting events and cheer for the team! The LDS Institute also has many activities and is a great place to learn about the LDS faith.
