Dickinson State University Reviews
Rating 3.59 out of 5 123 reviews
I love the close knit experiences that the university provides everyday. Teachers care about their students and will provide one on one instruction of needed. Games and actives are hosted all around campus pretty often and gets students to build relationships with each-other and earn chances at prizes. Media is posted often to keep students in the loop and attending events. It also gives something for the public to follow too if there are athletics to attend. Being in a sports team, my teachers are very receptive to meets and dates that I am not able to attend class. Every class is recorded and able to be accessed even after class is over. It makes it nice if you have to go back and take notes or if you are on the road. Our president makes him self present at every event I’ve seen and is a big supporter of the students here. The tuition is very affordable and there are many options for scholarships. This is my 5th year as a college student and this is by far my favorite Campus. Home
The people at DSU are very welcoming and really want to see their students succeed. This is especially true in the agriculture department. However, leadership at DSU is slightly corrupted, which left the Natural Sciences programs without adequate faculty.
It is a great small school, with great friendly atmosphere. Lots of sport people. Majority of people major in some sort of biology major or physics major. Really great small college with a hometown feel.
