Diversity is a great part of the school.
Hot in the summer, and cold in the winter.
There is a lot to do between farmer's markets, local eateries, and ball games.

There are no athletics at the school. However, the fitness area is very nice and awarded for its quality several times.
The dining facility is one of the best I've eaten at.
I have no concern over my health and safety at school.
Lots to Do! Des Moines offers so much to do! Especially the community in which DMU is located. There are always culturally diverse and exciting events taking place. Des Moines is a very progressive community!
The DMU campus is overflowing the technological advances. Other universities tour DMU to take a look at the technology being used. This technology gives DMU students a competitive advantage. Additionally, DMU is the oldest osteopathic school in the United States-- a cool factoid!
Need to Be Included – The MHA program at DMU is fairly new. We are somewhat separated from the rest of the school. The DOs, PAs, and DPTs have a lot of benefits and recognition programs while the MHA and MPH students are excluded from many things.

Would also like for their to be more professional development and networking opportunities for MHA and MPH students.
Staff is excellent, and the resources are top notch.
