Delta College is a great place to study! It is more affordable than most colleges and it offers a great variety of classes and associate degrees. Being in college during the pandemic, they have made sure to keep their students and staff safe throughout the past couple of years. The professors are phenomenal, (of course, you are going to encounter some that are not) and they are willing to help you with everything you need. The classes are relatively small, therefore you can have more one-on-one learning experiences.
I am grateful that Delta College was my first experience of what college was like, even if it is a community college. The professors are overall knowledgeable and helpful. The campus is well-rounded and it is easy to find the classes. I enjoyed the activities and clubs being offered on campus - I even had a position in the student engagement office as a receptionist (which was very awesome). If a student is unsure about what to study, please visit Delta College and take some classes to get an understanding of an interests. Then you can transfer to a 4-year university (if you'd like) through the transfer program!
Delta College is an amazing school for aspiring students around the area. Teachers are willing to spend one on one time with students. They are always expressing that their office hours are free for anyone to use, and encourage students to get extra help in areas needed. Schedules are at your own pace and can be made extremely flexible. The ability for students to choose their own schedules is outstanding due to most students being part-time students. Most students have jobs or children, which they need to work their schedules around. With Delta being a community college, it is much more affordable than a four-year university, and it is a great jump start on your college career. Overall, Delta is an exquisite community college with a special place for anyone willing and able to learn.
