I have not been made aware of any post grad services or job opportunities. It is always about who you know or who you run into. The responsibility of seeking a degree related job is primarily among the student.
I am not aware of any internships with the school as far as the programs are concerned but I know that the school employs a lot of students to work towards their tuition. There are constantly advertisements of job fairs but not people walking around advertising so it is a responsibility you must take on yourself to seek out opportunities. The career services center is very helpful and you are assigned your personal program adviser which is much more helpful than a counselor who tends to almost the whole school.
A entry level position in a firm or freelancing either way this is what I had expected going in.
I really haven't looked into it much but I suppose it is another thing to look into before I graduate.
Financial aid office is a nightmare if you wait until last minute. But I'm not paying anything and I don't need any loans because tuition is low.
I was able to get Financial Aid-SEED but since then, no other scholarships have wanted me.
The financial aid staff doesn't always seem to know what it's doing. You are pretty much on your own. They will direct you to some suggested sources of information, but don't seem to offer much information of their own. Again, your teachers are a better source of information than they are.
Good for Some Things – Tuition prices are good. The financial aid office tries their best. I dont have financial aid for everything I need though!! Wish we had a better system!
Most of the prereq classes are just like my high school classes were but for some reason are required. I didn't feel that I got a whole lot from those classes. I also waited for 5 hours at a time to try and get my financial aid and it wasn't completed on their part until December. I like that the classes are not overwhelmed with students.
Finacial Aid – I really do not know what they offer I am out of the age range for their scholarships and grants.
