Cedar Valley is a wonderful school to go to. The Professors are wonderful and helpful! This location is convenient and I appreciate that they have classes early in the morning and even evening classes. This is convenient for those that work and that may have a busy life. Overall, I would recommend CVC to my friends and family. Also anyone looking to get the best experience in the most convenient way. CVC has been nothing less than a great college to attend.
I enjoyed the effort the college tried to give in terms of student enjoyment. On the other hand, their efforts and attempts were not very effective. This campus is not ver organized and at times can be inconsistent. Some instructors would be poor in terms of communication and style of teaching. This isn’t limited to all professors because there are many who will work with you to tediously. On campus life outside of academics is limited. Only food options are subway. The clubs are diverse but most clubs are in working progress as if it is not a club yet. The staff are polite and very nice. Though they do seem overworked and drained often. Cedar Valley seems to be putting forth more effort to expand and change so hopefully the future will be different very soon. Overall I am enjoying my experience on campus but there is most definitely a lot of areas that could be worked on in this campus.
What I liked about cedar valley college was the help the teachers and advisors provided. If you were confused about the subject /class schedule the staff was there to help you decide what would be best for you according to your level of learning. My time here at cedar valley college has been the best! I started out with the basics which only took me a year to complete, in my case because I went for veterinary technician, which only asks for 4 classes before enrolling into the vet tech program. Coming into the vet tech program the professors were awesome, not only were they teaching you the material in a way you could understand it, but they also took the time to answer any questions you have about the course and they are also have a sense of humor. The professors were also very understanding of my situation, you see I was pregnant for the first year of the program. They take precautions of what animals and what areas you are not able to work in because of the safety of your pregnancy!
