Dallas College - Richland Campus Reviews
Richland College is probably the best community college to go to. I actually transferred to Richland from another college and the difference is impeccable. The campus is absolutely gorgeous and not overwhelmingly big. The professors I've had the pleasure of learning with genuinely care about their students. I appreciate the faculty and how there's small events that bring all students together. From giving out free hot chocolate on freezing days, concert events, and to bringing college fairs, it's truly a great experience all over. I'm glad I transferred!
My time at Richland College was at times difficult but also very memorable, from extracurricular activities to the friends I've had the pleasure of making. Richland College will have a special place in my memories. Contrary to popular belief, I was always fond of attending school and have always had a love and desire for learning new things, whether it be something groundbreaking or even something very minor and not too important. Although I attended the high school dual credit program, I still felt like a college student and was treated by my professors and classmates as such. This made my feel more obligated to get assignments and tasks done with due diligence and not waste time on activities that can wait. I'm glad that I made the decision to go out of my comfort zone and get a jump start on my college education, the opportunity that I had is rare and something that I couldn't pass up on.
Richland College has a large number of clubs, that you will fit in. Also the student life is very helpful. Beautiful campus that is well laid out. Main building for admissions and getting started is very organized. All areas are clearly labeled and keeps you from getting lost. Great place to start off very affordable and lots of greats staff to help. The diversity here is wonderful and a real pleasure to be around! Learning so many cultures makes you see how big our world really is! Definitely recommend this school!
