I have just completed my first year at DCTC. It’s a great campus, small enough to get to know students and teachers actually know your name. It provides great facilities, however it does not have on campus accommodation. I feel this would be a great drawcard to new students or encourage more international students.
I have found a few teachers treat those in the athletic program with distain. Not all athletes are stupid. We do want to learn but we also have found passion with our choice of sport. The athletic tutors have been amazing, helping to juggle workloads, training and travelling.

i mostly enjoy attending DCTC. i just wish it wasnt so far away from me (35 miles away). Most of the time i can take my classes online, but this semester all my classes are on campus so i am commuting a lot and using a lot of gasoline.

DCTC bends over backwards for military and veterans. But as a disabled student, disability services is virtually invisible. DCTC got a new disability coordinator but didnt get a letter or anything about it. Also, it's good that while there is ample disability parking, they are mostly unused so it seems to me that DCTC could do more to attract disabled students.

Most of the faculty/staff are very nice and i feel like i'm getting a decent education.
An amazing, small, and friendly college. It's so easy to make friends and get involved! The teachers care and will check on you if you're not performing to the best of your ability.
