So far my experience going to KCC is that there are a lot of people to help you along the way. Yes, the campus is on the beach, you wont have to worry about being hot and sweaty if its hot out. We have many different classes you can take that i havent noticed in other schools. We have a class where you can learn how to drive a boat, we have welding classes, we have an aquarium! I would choose this school if i started over because this is the only community college that offers culinary arts but its a good school to start your career. The culinary program makes you take a bunch of various classes so you arent just cooking or just learning management.
Review CUNY Kingsborough Community College
Although my experiences with the administrative staff were a nightmare, the overall atmosphere of this college is amazing and one of a kind! Do some research on Ratemyprofessor.com when making your schedule and you're guaranteed to have an awesome time here.I'm very sad to be leaving this college soon, it's a great opportunity for students to raise their GPA and start off college on the right foot.
My overall experience at Kingsborough Community College has been great! Throughout the years I have learned some of the most important aspects that has helped me to overcome my challenges. As a college student, there are times when we failed at trying to achieve our goals and that often leads us to being depressed. For me, when I first came to Kingsborough I did not understand the college life. It was hard and for most of the part I blamed the school for not helping the students. I knew that I had to work hard and achieve the goals I had been setting up for myself. As time grew, I received the help that I needed from my advisor and today she plays a huge part of my college years. Last and at least, what I learned is that in order for me to succeed in college, the real world and life is to never stop trying, never give up on my goals because they are what makes our dreams come true.
