Truthfully Connors State has its pros and cons just like any other school. My time there wasn’t the best due to many reasons. The school itself is very “country” oriented, most people are on roping teams, racing teams, etc., and it was difficult at times to meet somebody who wasn’t a cowboy/cowgirl. Highly recommend if you are into horses, cattle, and all of that! Also the teachers were hit or miss there. I took 61 hours through CSC and many of my teachers made it difficult to pass them. This previous semester (Jan-May 22’) I had a science professor that led to almost everybody failing or dropping the class. Finally with half a month left they decided to remove the teacher and replace him with another teacher that was already on campus. She made it very clear she had other classes to focus on as well not just ours. I don’t believe we got enough effort put into our education personally. The college itself isn’t too expensive but it’s not worth it for how the experience turned out.
As a Connors state college student, I love how involved the Professors and Dean are with the other students and I! I love how the Dean and Professors go above and beyond for all of the students and how they push us to go above and beyond ourselves with extracurricular activities and deeper into our studies.
It's a good school. It was my first time though and I didn't have many resources or much guidance. Those that I interacted with though were always kind and helpful. I loved the items we had to choose from when it came to things we could purchase for our schooling. It was all so handy and convenient!
