My daughter was enrolled as a high school honors student. I never received any info. I called to inquire and was on hold for 40 minutes. They gave me the wrong email. When I called back and was on hold for 45 minutes. The name I was given, wasn't even on the campus. She and I emailed back and forth. She connected me to someone else. We spoke and emailed back and forth. The only opening was full. I was passed onto another person. We spoke and emailed back and forth. I was told that the course she needed was full. He had to get permission from THREE people to get her in. He told me to send in a form. I did. I received an email saying that it HAD to come through a student email. We had no idea how to do this. This person walked us through. I called to complain about the communication. I was on hold for 50 minutes. The person would not give me the dean's number. I contacted the dean. She got in. The class was SILENT. The only accommodation for her dyslexia was teacher's notes. She left.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, the campus is well kept and very peaceful. The students looks happy.Everyone is respectful and really can't wait to join classes officially.
This was a great school! I made a lot of experiences! I will never forget my time here! I recommend taking your child here!
i love the campus. its small but lits of spaces to do school work and not be distracted. everyone is super nice.
I took Art 100 here during the Winter 2021 session and had a great professor. He was nice, understanding, and showed interest in the topics we were learning. The staff is very knowledgeable and try to make learning interesting.
Nice, small community college where diversity is welcome. It’s very affordable and great knowledgeable profesora. I highly recommend it.
Professors were helpful. Very accessible for help and conversations when needed. They work with you to help you succeed.
Enjoyed the flexibility of class offerings. It was a great place to start out, particularly in Covid times. Very welcoming environment with understanding staff. Get some basic classes out of the way and then transfer those credits to another institution - much more affordable option to start at.
There are plenty or clubs, athletics, and events to participate in if you choose to. They definitely foster an environment to get students together and involved.
Location was convenient for commuting. Surrounding area has shoppes, restaurants, etc.

Awful soul training experience here.
The teacher for a certificate program that had nothing to do with politics was extremely political and ideological to the point of bullying students for their gender and skin color. The experience was so soul training half the class found themselves in therapy and half didn't even continue into a career because of the drop in morale.

I had a good experience at Asnuntuck Community College. I do think it is a good college, some of the professors I had were super nice, funny, and cool. Most of them are very understanding, they will understand if you can't make it to class on time or are not able to turn in a assignment on time. They appreciate your sincerity and communication. The environment is super chill, you can easily interact with the people around you.
Asnuntuck is a great gateway to four year degree granting institutions. I’m able to get my gen ed credits out of the way without spending a fortune. The class sizes are small and the professors I’ve had are incredibly responsive.
Some of the professors are amazing and will change your life the other half are racist if your a minority
The advisors and professors really want to see you succeed. If you show them you’re willing to work hard to achieve your goals (whether academic or professional), they’ll be with you every step of the way
I have had a really wonderful experience at Asnuntuck. My favorite part of the school is the faculty. I have found that all of the professors are really great, and caring people, and the other school staff members are very friendly and helpful. The school is rather tight knit and feels very welcoming. If I could change something I would change the auditorium. It’s very dated and not well lit at all.
Asnuntuck is such a great place to start. Coming out of high school can be stressful with all the pressure being put on you. However, I found ACC to be very welcoming and much like high school. The classes were small and comforting, and the school in general was very diverse which was a nice change. Everyone there is so friendly and it’s a great community overall.
Asnuntuck is a really great school with a wonderful staff and diverse student population. Most people are so friendly and are willing to help. The professors are really great and they create a wondering learning environment.
The atmosphere makes you feel at ease and comfortable at the college. The staff do a great job helping directly in what is necessary.
It was the first college I ever went to after moving to U.S. And, I was really scared how the student and professors will treat me, as you don't see the best of the world on news.
However, when I came here everyone was so warm and kind, it didn't feel like I was any different. The college campus environment and the professors are the two things that I loved the most about ACC. Encouraging professors and study environment at all times.
