Concordia University - Oregon Reviews
Review Concordia University - Oregon
My school is located in American Samoa and one of the best schools on island. I currently work there as a teacher and I am very fond of my school. My school is unique because, it is next to our only international airport on the island and surrounded by government offices which makes it more convenient for students to attend. Many parents bring their children to my school because of its location and the curriculum is up-to-date. The total number of students attending my school is from 900 to 1000 plus students every school year. The school is near a public baseball field, where governmental offices utilizes for their tournaments. I would like to invite others to have prefer my school if they need to have their children or child attend a public school that is closer to various government buildings, sports field, and so forth. My school location is the best and more visual for people to witness what goes on a daily basis. Lastly, my school was middle named to one of United States President's wife "Lady Bird"during the 1900s. This is another unique and historical feature that makes my school important.
Despite Concordia being an expensive private school the quality of the education and amazing professors make my college experience worth the time and money I have invested into every semester. The professors are always available via phone, email, or to meet in person. Given the small campus professors do no forget who you are even if you took their class one or four years ago. As a student you get the necessary one on one help from staff and professors. My academic advisor is awesome because she does not just assign me classes, but actually takes the time to make sure the way my schedule will be set up is successful and not too overwhelming.
Athletics at my school is very important for student involvement, teamwork, support, school spirit, and being able to exercise and stay fit. I do believe that having sports at school will engage students to attend, take part, and be able to excel in the process of learning and of maintaining a healthy body and life. At my school, students show great team work when they are on the field playing with one another. They interact, perform, play together, and exercise to keep their bodies active and well. Sports is very significant to any child's fitness and well-being. It encourages their body to stay fit, when they are have free time to play at the gym or out on the field. Physical fitness is another way to communicate ourselves with the environment we are living in. It keeps us going with our ways of living to stay fit when we wake up in the morning and make sure we tend to workout to stay healthy. Lastly, having athletics in our school community will engage many students to get involved, be active, and will promote health and physical fitness for our entire school community. As a community, we are experiencing various health issues and diseases like obesity and we need to make a difference to make sure we have athletics in our schools. Because this is another great motivation for our students to take part in various sports.
