Concordia University - Texas Reviews
Review Concordia University - Texas
Concordia University is a beautiful and friendly campus! The student-professor ratio is perfect if you are looking for lots of one-on-one time with your college professors. That way, you have no reason to worry about being left out of the circle in your classes. The community is very open and welcoming, making you feel comfortable in no time at all. If you are looking for a school that will make you feel like you never left home, Concordia is the perfect place for you.
Concordia is a great school to be honest. Although it's a small school, I like it because the class sizes are great, the staff and the community is very nice and it's such a great environment to be in. I've had the chance to meet my best friends their and make lifetime memories with them, and I can't wait to make many more with them! My school is unique because we have our own preserve on campus which is beneficial for certain classes that I will be taking throughout my college career at Concordia. I would choose to do it all over again because this school was a blessing in disguise, honestly. All of my spring semester in my last year of high school, the admissions office kept sending me emails about applying their and I really didn't want to because I've always wanted to go to a school out of state. So as the summer was coming to a close, about three weeks before it was time to move in at the time, I had finally applied and gotten accepted, and also received really good scholarship money. So next thing you know, I've moved in and started my first day of college that next week. Also I joined the tennis team, which was their first year in long time of bringing the sport tennis back. I was nervous at first, but the people at Concordia including my teammates were very welcoming and friendly and they helped make my experience at Concordia unforgettable. Even though I had some downs at Concordia, I absolutely love being there in that kind of environment and I wouldn't trade it in for the world.
Concordia's housing is just basically two buildings with dorms and only one of the buildings have all the amenities such as, study rooms, the free laundry room, television, pool table, ping pong table, and foosball. The social atmosphere is great because everybody knows everybody and everyone's friendly; it's basically like we're a big but small ctx family. It seems weird because it kind of feels like a high school, but it's not. The housing process is pretty simple aside from other schools. I love it!
