The College of Health Care Professionals provides students with a chance to get a certification or degree in a much shorter time period than the traditional 4-year university. This allows high school graduates interested in the medical field to get their feet wet and build their way up in a competitive field of study. CHCP is a small campus which allows staff members to effectively attend to student needs. Weather it's providing daycare facilities, ways to receive scholarships, or just have laughs and talks about the day. Teachers and counselors provide the right motivation, aid, and curriculum to make sure all the students enrolled graduate and complete the course. CHCP provides externships where students will get to put the skills, they have been taught by their teachers in practice in hopes to eventually be offered a job at the extern site. These reasons and many more are why I decided to attend CHCP enrolled in the medical assistant program in order to build my future success.
The College of Health Care Professions has really great staff that are always in touch with you, making sure you are doing alright in any situation. Staff offer their help, advises, and even speak to you with much love and care. I felt really appreciated when I first stepped into this campus and I am positive that starting college I will be a good student thanks to these awesome representatives.
Its really 50/50 I’m in the LMRT program it was disorganized at times but overall you get everything you need in order to get your state license. The teachers are very caring and they do want you to succeed. For most of the work it is independent, but as far as procedures and positioning goes the teachers are available all the time and give you many opportunities to practice before going to externship.
