Small class sizes, which makes it easier to work with the educator if need. The classes were well organized. The staff there are great!
My experience here was pretty average. I've had trouble with communicating with this college. Especially within administrative circle. They also have a very confusing website and a sub par academic portal. My professors where pretty good but I would have preferred more involved interactions with my classmates and professions. Many times I also felt out of touch with my professors. There definitely could have been a better support system. The campus is pretty drab but the surrounding area is beautiful. The on school food is pretty awful, the vending machines selections are pretty diverse though. My favorite part about the campus is all the windows in the entrance hall. I especially loved getting out of class late at night in the winter and watching the snow fall threw the big glass panes.
So far, I love Coconino Community College! The environment and people are so friendly. The fact that the campus is small allows you to interact more with the students around you. Almost like how it use to be in high school! It's not for everyone. I've gone to a university and I feel like it has a lot more distractions than a community college would.
