My overall experience at Coconino Community College has been great! I had the opportunity to get involved in their program called CCC to NAU which allows the student to take classes at CCC but to also be a student at NAU (includes housing, meal plans, clubs, and events). This program has allowed me to get the same kind of education as a student who attends a university as well as the same opportunities on both campuses! Highly recommend :)

As an out-of-state student, originally from Wisconsin, I have been pleasantly surprised with the ease of transitioning to a school in an entirely new environment. I enjoy the atmosphere and surrounding nature that Coconino Community College has to offer, as well as the school's overall dedication to providing the best academic experience that they can during a global pandemic. When I am able to attend classes in person, I am provided hands-on experiences in trades that interest me greatly. I am able to pursue my knowledge in a major that I am passionate about while staying safe and healthy, as the school offers small class sizes. This also allows for a more personable experience as I have been able to develop meaningful relationships with each of my professors, even in the short time that I have been enrolled in school.
I am taking a few of my classes entirely online and others partially online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While the circumstances are not ideal, my professors have done what they can to accommodate for the lack of in-person experience that I would have gotten under typical conditions. Zoom lectures are in-depth and as interactive as possible, and my class materials are relatively accessible. I am grateful for my ability to receive an education, even if remotely, during this unprecedented time.
