Cleveland State University Reviews
Literally every where you go on campus there's help! There's always someone there to help you with personal problems, financial problems, class advising and tutoring opportunities! Teachers create office hours just for us to come in with any questions we have. The staff is very flexible and will help anyone of and race or color without hesitation and the atmosphere there is like family! It's a bery welcoming college and makes everyone feel at home and no one is ever left to struggle on their own in that school!
As a commuter living a short distance from campus, Cleveland State was convenient. Distance is not what makes it an amazing school or what determined my decision to attend CSU. It was the great professors, programs/majors, student life, and affordability. There are numerous organizations and events to participate in and ways to become active at the school. The campus is beautiful and being able to walk off campus and immediately be in Downtown Cleveland to experience the city is awesome! It is a large school but you will not be just a number if you take your education, time, and life seriously. Just like in the real world you make your education, time, and life what it can be when you work hard and connect to the professors and students. Regardless of where you attend, only then can your educational goals will be fulfilled.
I love CSU! I am currently attending, majoring in Music Therapy and Psychology. The professors are amazing and care about their students success. The classes are well prepared and presented. The cost per credit can't be beat, either! I will say one negative aspect is their Financial Aid department. I can't say they go out of their way to help students figure out funding when financial aid runs out. Students are basically left on their own and feeling like they're SOL.
