The staff is super supportive and has help me get through so much! Teachers are passionate about seeing their students succeed. They are so great about sharing moments of pride they see within your their students their good behaviors and achievements and they know the importance of getting the students involved should an issue arise, and do it in a very respectful, approachable manner. Most of the math classes are all online which is a little but I actually like that better because I got to work at my own pace. This school also has 24hr tutors, and the tutor I went to was actually really helpful. The are not that big so its easy to ask the teach a question and get a answer. The teachers that I've had are happy to answer any and all question even when they are cray question. The work is harder than I thought it would be but it is doable. Teachers are also really nice about giving him extra credit. Overall, its an organized school, great staff, and no school on Friday.
Cleveland State provides a close-knit, family atmosphere school. For students in state many scholarships are available to make schooling very cheap if not free. Not to mention the dedicated educators who pour themselves into the students. Great experience!
I love CLeveland state community college. I am an allied health science major but was previously an accounting major. I plan on transferring into nursing after getting all of my pre requisites. The teachers and advisors are very helpful and want you to succeed. Despite the pros of Cleveland State Community College I would use to see more majors such as more medical based majors like technical applied degrees and more career focused clubs. As a former high school student many colleges gave prospective students the opportunity to sit in on classes and observe and I toured CLeveland state community college twice in high school and never got to sit in on a class. Cleveland state community college has a job board that the jobs are a little far fetched for those with limited job experience or those who have a full time school schedules. I would recommend CLeveland state community college to any friends, family, or curious seekers looking for a cost effective university.
