City Colleges of Chicago - Harold Washington College Reviews
Rating 3.66 out of 5 702 reviews
Harold Washington is really great! My professors have been awesome and the education is pretty quality, not to mention the school has so much free help. City Colleges of Chicago has campuses all over the city, but I chose Harold Washington for its primo downtown location. You can have lunch by the river and hang around downtown in between classes. It’s also easy to get to with public transportation!
My time at Harold Washington has been incredibly rewarding. The staff's helpful assistance and support have made a significant impact on my experience. I particularly enjoyed being part of the various clubs and student government, which helped me build strong bonds with both students and faculty. The opportunities for personal and academic growth have been abundant, and I feel fortunate to have been a part of this vibrant community. Harold Washington has truly been an unforgettable and enriching journey for me.
The overall experience being at Harold Washington College is a significant change of pace where the professors have a great way of explaining the curriculum as thoroughly as the professor can be. The college has resources when it comes to financial or to mental health awareness, most of the staff understand the issues some college students go through whether that being personal life or college life. There has been an issue I have been dealing with personally where it seems that I won't be able to finish on time but with the help of the staff and tutoring, I was able to be on track to finish work on time, and be better prepared for next semester.
