This year is my freshman year at Chipola College. However I also dual enrolled here during my junior and senior year in high school. I honestly really love this college and think that it's amazing that people in my area have access to such a great college that's not ridiculously far from home. The professors are great, student life is amazing, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall it's an amazing environment.
Love it here but it’s very small. They do well with what they have but it’s a small community college in an even smaller town. It’s rural and a somewhat conservative community. I grew up here so I’m used to it but it might be a culture shock to someone who’s used to different. It’s a community college with a majority of dual enrollment students in the student body so It’s hard to get that real college feel but I’m grateful for every opportunity I’ve gotten from there.
It’s a good starter college to ease fresh high school students or returning adults dithering their education. They’re very helpful and flexible with life and schedules.
