Chattahoochee Technical College is an example of why people decide to stay in-state for college. The teachers there are great at teaching because of there knowledge in their specific subjects, there is a lot of hands on experience with computers that can be used during class, and there are many locations that makes it convenient to attend anytime during the week. When it comes to online classes, it is a very easy experience, the assignments are set up where books and online material is self teachable ,assignments are straight forward and it’s the best option to take when it comes to working and school. If you work throughout the week, taking online classes makes it a less stressful process. Receiving an Associate degree from a technical college gives you the same opportunity as much as a University degree can, and that is why it’s worth saving more money than you would going to a university, Chattahoochee Tech offers many degrees that can open up career pathways.
I had many issues with online professors at Chattahoochee Tech. Some professors communicated with students and provided many resources and offered their own help with the course. On the other hand, I had several professors that refused to work with you or even respond to emails. There are mandatory in person proctored events for every online course, and while they do not take priority over already scheduled in person classes, I had a professor that told me I could drop her class if I didn't choose her event over my two finals on the same day. Many online professors assign online videos and online websites and do not teach at all or even know the work being assigned. Do your research.
