So far I have enjoyed the experience of attending this university. The only down side is that it's hard to get in contact with the financial advisors.
It is a good school though it is expensive. Make sure you are prepared for the large portion of the time needed to dedicate to studying and homework each week. It can become overwhelming once you start the core nursing courses.
Chamberlain is amazing! The integration of both online and campus learning makes it easy for me to both work and get my education. I am a hands on learner the the staff is so open and ready to work with their students. The environment is so welcoming!
I have recently enrolled at CU Tysons Corner and although I haven't been here long, I do like it so far. The application process was extremely easy, and you have assistance throughout the whole process. I will say that the program is a bit pricey and there isn't much direction on site.
i like how there is 24/7 assistance. i love how everyone responds to my questions and concerns asap.
The staff and faculty are very helpful and welcoming. I started at Chamberlian university in 2019 and since then I feel as though my passion for nursing has increased since attending this school. I feel as though Chamberlian will and has definitely equipped me with the proper knowledge and skills that will assist in preparing me for my nursing career.Chamberlian makes sure to engage students in current Nclex training and new nursing innovations that will help all students complete and move on in the real world. Choosing chamberlain as my nursing school was and is one of the best decisions I have made and I look forward in becoming alumni so that I can pass on everything that I received as a student.
It is a good university. Wish there were more financial aid programs. I also wish there were more opportunities to be able to have on campus classes
Chamberlain is generally not an online school. Only general education courses are taught online. However, they did a great job switching to a full online environment for the time of the pandemic. Chamberlain provides various services to assist the online environment.
I am on my second year of a 3 year accelerated BSN program and I have to say that although it is challenging it is also very gratifying. I received a grant which helped me pay for my education and provided an opportunity to save for the second and third year. If you decide to study at Chamberlain in VA, the year will be broken up into 6 sessions, each session is 8 weeks long. It is generally 2-3 courses per session. You will experience quizzes, group projects, midterms, finals. The actual nursing courses have 3 exams per session instead of 2. I do believe that this school is doing a great job preparing me for my NCLEX so far. I also know a couple of now nurses, Chamberlain graduates, who had passed their boards and had no problem finding a job. Financials wise, the whole 3 years comes up to about $85,000 - $90,000 plus books, uniform. Grant opportunities, government and private loans are always available and Chamberlain does a great job explaining the options to you.
Best of luck!
Best of luck!
They were pretty easy and also you should be punctual and on time. Also ask as many question as needed do not ever think low of yourself just because you have more question.
Chamberlain is okay. I don't think I would refer it to anyone else unless they don't have options. Although there are a lot of teachers that will help you if you need it. It is way to expensive to not have a better variety in the times they offer classes.
What I like most about Chamberlain college of nursing Is that they offer each student plenty of resources. In addition, they overly prepare you for the NCLEX!
Chamberlain is a good college and the good thing is that you can finished your degree in a 3-year period. Although it is hard sometimes to deal with school work as this is an accelerated program, if you dedicate the time needed for each class you can learn a lot. Clinical instructors are very good in teaching students what needs to be done and I like that they are strict about patient care and documentation as this is preparing students to be ready to become nurses. The tuition is very expensive and there are things they need to change or improve. For example, they have to provide more supplies for students to practice in the labs, and have new equipment that we can use to practice such as bed monitors, ventilators and others. Overall, this is a good college, location is great and professors are great.
I like the resources that are available to students and the professors seem interested in helping students succeed. I wish there were more campuses and clinical sites for convenience.
As of right now my experience has be OK at Chamberlain College of Nursing. The academic side of things is pretty awesome, and I have nothing bad to say about it, however the student services side of things needs a bit of work. It is very hard to get to talk to any of the the staff regarding your account if you had questions or trying to get your schedule changed. They also don't the staff capacity needed to run a college campus, I personally believe Chamberlain needs to hire more people to be available for the students to come to in their times of need. They problems alone have forced me to rethink my choice to go to Chamberlain College of Nursing.
Chamberlain College of Nursing is an affiliate of DeVry University, however it solely concentrates its curriculum on Nursing. The college is pricey, but it also offers a 3 year completion of BSN.
I wish I could give this institution four stars but I have been attending three semesters now and have seen many fellow students drop for various reason but all coming down to the horrible class of pathophysiology. The in class session is horrible the teacher does not teach, however the online students are able to take exams at home or receive detail outlines for there exams and get passing grades in comparison to those who come to campus only to have to drop the class and barely hang on and pray they pass. My experience here has been mixed although there are resources like CAS who are amazing at providing help the playing field is not level for the students who come to campus and those who attend classes online. Furthermore is that students frustrations go without being resolved and people become hopeless and drop out.
